In 2021, the Board agreed that the then Membership & Volunteering Committee be split into two  separate committees as the workload for the committee (and in particular the committee Chair) was too great to be dealt with by a single committee.  This “new” committee and its Chair (a Board member) has not yet been put in place.

As soon as it has been established, one of its first tasks will be to develop this section of the website.

This does not mean that volunteering does not take place.  On the contrary, volunteers are active in all departments  of the museum, and new volunteers are being recruited and put through an “induction” by the Volunteer Administrator, Ann Alldred, assisted by a supporting team.
